Guest Judge: Monique Collins

Monique Collins is the founder of Afronauts Podcast featuring Black writers of speculative fiction. She writes both poetry and prose and loves to examine the surreal and magical in her work. She graduated magna cum laude from Wofford College with a B.A. in English and a minor in creative writing. She is currently an MFA candidate at Emerson College and will graduate in spring 2021. When she is not writing or teaching English, you can find her surrounded by Himalayan salt lamps and thuggin’ out to Nordic lullabies. Her most recent project is a multigenerational novel based on Gullah-Geechee and African mythology.
