Hello, Faithful Readership!
Our 2nd Annual Microfiction Contest is now OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS. This year, in solidarity with our country, our community, and our firm stance on increasing diversity and equality throughout the literary world, we will be dedicating this contest solely to Black Voices in speculative fiction.
Our theme will be “Afrofuturism” and our first place prize will be the Binti Trilogy by the Hugo and Nebula Award winning author Nnedi Okorafor.
Additionally, this year’s contest will be judged by Monique Collins, writer and founder of an upcoming podcast focusing on Black writers in speculative fiction.
We are super excited about this one, and we can’t wait to read all of your wonderful submissions, so get them in!
